Raising The Bar Academic Coaching

Set new standards. Reach new heights.
Raise The Bar.

Who We Are

Hello!  My name is Dan Van der Vieren, and I am the owner of Raising The Bar Academic Coaching.  I started this company for two reasons.  The first was that I noticed that many of the students I was tutoring and teaching at Red Rocks were not getting enough 1-1 attention.  The other reason was that I noticed there were a lot of competing companies that were charging inconsistent, high rates and hired tutors without verified credentials.  I thought to myself, "I want to provide affordable, consistent, and high-quality tutoring for those students who need extra assistance."

After brainstorming with several colleagues about this idea, Raising The Bar Academic Coaching was born.  Currently, I am working with several other Academic Coaches to bring affordable tutoring services to elementary school, middle school, high school, and college students throughout the Littleton, Lakewood, Golden, Wheat Ridge, Denver and Arvada regions.

I love working with students of all backgrounds and learning styles, and I work with some great Academic Coaches who share my passion for teaching and tutoring.

Please feel free to visit the various pages of our site, and don't hesitate to give us a call if you or anyone you know is in need of academic assistance!
